Here’s another attempt to get my ultimate art shot of horses.

All of the horses were curious about me. Most likely they thought I’d brought them a treat or at the very least would give them a loving pat. They got way too close and they were constantly moving. Nothing seemed to be happening for me until the gray horse, a gelding, decided to show the two colts in the next pasture that he was boss. He began to nip the neck of a sorrel colt who ignored him.

Instantly I thought of photos I’ve seen of the Camargue  horses and I tried to get a similar shot. It was a desperate hope as there is no fence when you go to the Camargue to shoot. Here is my best shot…there is just a tiny bit of the gray’s teeth showing. I was hoping to get more.  Maybe next time.
