Concert in St. Petersburg

two elderly buskers on a canal in St. Petersburg

"The Old Songs are the Best!"

Two musicians play their hearts out on a canal in St. Petersburg. The accordion player was there first and the other man came up and began to sing in what sounded like a trained voice to me. They didn’t sing Russian folk songs, which I love. The song sounded like a classical piece. But what do I know?  They sang and played and we listened on a glorious sun filled afternoon. Then we got cake.
