I gave myself a book of Irving Penn’s photographs for Christmas. As luck would have it, Mr. Penn had photographed an Amaryllis and since I still had my Amaryllis, I decided to take note. Mr. Penn, I can’t call him Irving as I admire and respect him too much, put the back of the blossom toward the lens. Interesting!! I decided to copy him.
