Morocco: Fez Souk 2009

The carpet sellers call this “cactus silk”. And to a jet lagged tourist, the idea just might make sense. Most likely though, if you could see a label on those spindles, it would say ‘made in China’. I don’t know that for sure but I am warning you that if you buy a carpet in Morocco that is  made of “cactus silk” or any other silk it is Buyer Beware!
