The Tea Maker

Shwe Yaunghwe Kyaung Monastery, Burma 2010

He was the perfect monk to pose for us. He was in a hurry, though. The master had designated him to start the tea for breakfast and we were making him late. He was torn between pleasing us and pleasing the master. When we stopped to check our histographs, he took his chance and disappeared.

I cropped my shot to show the boy’s beautiful face and his hands which look like working hands.

Here is the photo as shot.
