Feluccas on the Nile
Egypt 1998
Yesterday, I opened the notebook containing my black and white negatives from Egypt. I’d never noticed these boats (called feluccas in Arabic) on the Nile. I was pleased to find them. I shot this at a good time. The sun was low on the horizon illuminating the glowing sails. So Egyptian!
