Elephants in Evening Light

U.S.A. San Diego, CA 2107

We visited the San Diego Wild Animal Park for my birthday celebration. We took a ‘safari’ through the park’s 1,800 acres. It was a lot like an African Safari except animals weren’t hunting each other. The rhinos would come up and eat apples out of your hand, the elephants knew their name and the cheetah’s best friend was a Rhodesian Ridgeback.

I shot this in late evening when the colors of the elephants and the colors of the earth blended into these lovely tones
