The Nile at Dawn

Morning on the NIle

Luxor, Egypt 1989

This scene reminds me of the many mysteries written by Agatha Christie that take place in the middle east. I bought the Inspector Poirot series and I never tire of watching Death on the Nile or Appointment with Death. It’s the atmosphere of being in an exotic land, the golden light, the palm trees, the narrow stone streets mobbed with camels, men wearing robes and turbans, I love it.
