Wheatfield on Lake Issyk Kul

Lake Issyk Kul, Kyrgyzstan 2013

Torie, remember her?, wanted to photograph the Kyrgyz cemetery. So, we stopped. The Kyrgyz do not want strangers wandering among their graves photographing the mini-mosques and other fanciful structures that mark the resting place of their loved ones. Torie had to be careful that no one saw her.  I left her to it. I turned my attention to the wheat field across the way.

Another photographed enhanced by the use of Snap Art 4. Ansel Adams used to say you needed to visualize your end result and make it happen in the darkroom. I followed Adams advice but used Snap Art 4. It’s easier.
