Skopje’s city center is filled with huge statues. Here are a few:

He looked like Winston Churchill to me but I think he is a poet. The writing on the plinth was in Cyrillic, so I can’t be sure.

I liked these statues which lined the bridges crossing the River Vardar. They looked a bit like Socialist statues but instead of depicting workers, they depicted the founding fathers and writers and politicians.
