A principal actor applies the elaborate makeup of the Kathakali Theater.
I have quite a few of these “mirror” shots. When I want a particular shot, I try to shoot as many as possible. Luckily, here I could move around and get different viewpoints. That means that although they are all the “mirror” shot each shot is different. I hate it when it looks like I just stood flat-footed and took the same shot over and over. I berate myself for that until I remember that I was stuck in that one place and had no choice. Sometimes the expression of the subject makes one stand out and after all we are shooting digital. Well, that’s what I tell myself.
