Pagoda and Go-Down

Burma, Inle Lake: Go-down with pagoda

Go-Down with Pagoda

Inle Lake, Burma 2011

A pagoda overlooks the busy quay where boats dock at a go-down or warehouse. I used my purple filter again but this time lightened it to give an aged look. Also I added scratches. I used to get scratches on my film when I shot in the desert. I hated them then and tried to eliminate them. Now, I’m adding them for a look of authenticity. Does it make sense?

I used Alien Skin’s Exposure X to give this photo the look I wanted.
