Contrast gives meaning to your photographs. It can give a true meaning or it can act like propaganda. Here it is propaganda. You’d think these men were suffering or imprisoned, but they aren’t. They were reading the paper at the barbershop when I popped in with my camera.
The chalk and soot look to this photo makes it resemble a woodcut. It’s fun to do something different!
