Little Woman

I stood on the road above her home. Her mother was hanging out the wash and the child took advantage of her mother’s distraction to walk over to me. I love the way she is dressed especially her little hat. I think her mother must have woven or knitted all of her clothing. Only her tiny feet were exposed to the cold air. She holds a bit of grass between her teeth. Perhaps her mother or father does that, too.
This shot was very contrasty and rather grainy. I used Neat Image software to reduce the noise ( in this case grain) and it worked beautifully.
