Blue Mosque with Moon

Blue Mosque with Moon

Istanbul 2008

A view from my window at Arcadia Hotel. To be honest, I substituted another moon, shot from my balcony at home, for the Turkish moon. The Turkish moon was a full moon but it looked rather tiny in my shot. The California moon is too large to look real.  I wouldn’t have known if I hadn’t taken a Photoshop class online with Jim Zuckerman (www.jimzuckerman.com)

Jim told me my moon was too large. I know he’s right. But we can break those rules as long as we know the rules.
