Holy Communion

A Coptic priests gives out Holy Communion during mass in one of Lalibela’s ancient stone churches. A shaft of light dispels the dark shadow and highlights the gold embroidered vestments of the priest. The worshippers’ heads bow in prayer. A solemn occasion and here I was taking photographs. Mea Culpa.
