Photographing Flowers

magnolia blossom gone to seed

Past its Prime

South Carolina 2011

Most photographers love to photograph flowers. The only flower that I’ve been successful with is the Magnolia. It stands alone with a dark background…not all those fussy little green shoots ruining my shot. And you can find it in several different “life passages” on one tree at one time. And it is beautiful.

Want to learn about photographing flowers? Jim Zuckerman has some great ideas in his latest e-magazine “Photo Insights” May 2015 issue. Go to his blog www.jimzuckerman.com and learn from Jim. I know I always do.
