Rosemary’s Posters 2

Stylized depiction of Marrakesh medina

Marrakesh: It's another world!

This is a poster I made years ago. I didn’t do much to it digitally other than removing some junk from the lower left hand corner. The two small figures add life even though they are insignificant in size. I love the atmosphere here, but I didn’t do anything to get it other than go to Marrakesh.  This is in the medina near the Jewish quarter or as the Moroccans call it, “the mellah”.

If you go to Morocco, you must go to either Marrakesh or Fes and then to the Erg Chebbi. If you go to Marrakesh, take a day trip to Essaouira, a beautiful seaside village about 2 hours drive west. Nowadays, Essaouira is quite touristy, but when I first went there it was the ‘real Morocco’. I’ll show you some photos from those days in the coming months.
