Saddle Shoes Forever

Japanese Tourist in Bokhara wears saddle shoes

Japanese Tourist makes a Fashion Statement

Uzbekistan 2012 A side street in Bokhara

A pretty Japanese woman demonstrates Japanese Style. Her clothing looked comfortable and stylish…and expensive, I might add. I loved her shoes! We all wore them back in the day. Of course, we all wore white bobby sox. No one would be caught dead in dark-colored sox.

I gave this photo a grunge look to show the passage of time since saddle shoes were in fashion. I feel bad because the woman had a lovely face and this technique detracts from her beauty. Sorry.

I’ll be brief for the next two weeks or so. I’ve got company coming and you know what that is like: busy but happy. I’ll try to put a photo on each day just in case you want a distraction while you sip your coffee.
