Rangoon Fantasy

Rangoon, Burma 2011

This is my Burma fantasy. My mental image of what Rangoon should look like. Pretty girls, umbrellas, ponds filled with water lilies. Did it look like this in real life? No, but the essence was there. It only took a bit of fiddling in Photoshop, adding some layers of texture and maybe a plug-in like Snap Art or Topaz to give this photo a painterly look.

Using post-processing techniques we can save photos that in the past would have been thrown into the trash. It’s satisfying.
